Monika Bartelt

 

Monika Bartelt lives in Berlin and is a consultant for international personnel and organisational development projects. She is an educated chemist and HR Manager and has gathered eight years of experience in the chemical industry. Monika worked in Global Management Development, leads teams of HR Managers coming from different European countries and North America and facilitated HR and change projects and processes in the Merger & Acquisition context.

 

 
 

Angel Barajas

 

Angel Barajas (Ph.D., University of Navarra) is a lecturer of Financial Management in the Department of Accountancy and Finance of University of Vigo, Spain. He is specialized in the fields of investment valuation and finance of sports (particularly professional football). He gained practical experience by working as a Financial Consultant for companies. He has been member of the Board of a logistic company during ten years. He is the author of several books and scholary articles.

 

 
 

Bruce Dalgaard

 

Bruce R. Dalgaard (Ph.D., University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign) is Professor of Economics and Asian Studies at St. Olaf College, Northfield, Minnesota, USA. He teaches courses on American Business History, Macroeconomic Policy, Japanese Economic Development and Asian Societal Change. Before joining the St. Olaf faculty in 1992, Dalgaard held positions at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania and at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, USA. Dalgaard is the author of several books and scholary articles. He is actively involved in international education, regularly leading student groups to Europe and Japan.

 

 
 

Jaime Alberto Escobar

 

Professor Jaime Alberto Escobar is a chemical engineer graduated in University of Antioquia, Colombia. Since 1999 he has been leading the teaching of Process Design courses in Universidad EAFIT in Colombia. He is an specialist in Project Management and MBS (Manager Basic Subjects). Before a full dedicated academic, he developed wide engineering and management skills working as Project Manager and VP operations in outstanding International polymer companies, like Formosa Plastics Co (Taiwan), and Mc Neel International (USA). He has been a lecturer in U. of Manchester (U.K.), U. of Ostrava (Czch. Rep.), House of Sciences Bremen (Germany), U. of Applied Sciences Bremerhaven (Germany) and several universities and institutions in Colombia. Nowadays, he is working as a researcher in cooperation with PEET of University of Bremerhaven and financial support from DADD (Germany), leading a project to produce Hydrogen and liquid fuels as a chemical storage for clean energies. Besides he works in his country in the field of renewable energies as a strategy resource to enhance economic develop for small rural communities.

 

 
 

Gerhard Feldmeier

 

Dr. Gerhard Feldmeier is Professor of International Economics and Management at Hochschule Bremerhaven, University of Applied Sciences. He is an economist and specialised in the subjects of Economic Policy in Europe, External Economic Relations and Global Management. After graduating in Business Administration and Economics he worked as an assistant professor in the "Instistute for World Economics and International Management" at the University of Bremen. Following this, he worked for seven years as an Economic Counsellor for the German Association of Industry and Commerce and was involved in practical policy-making processes.

 

 
 

Wolfgang Flieger

 

Dr. Wolfgang Flieger was Director of Administration and Finance (Registrar) at Hochschule Bremerhaven, University of Applied Sciences. He studied Economics, English and Vocational Business Education in Oldenburg and Norwich (UK). After graduation he worked as research assistant, lecturer and faculty manager at the University of Kaiserslautern, Faculty of Business Studies and Economics. He holds a doctoral degree in Economics. Since 1993, he has done research and teaching in the fields of political and business applications of micro- and macroeconomics.

 

 
 

Joana Jedrzejowicz

 

Dr. Joanna Jedrzejowicz is a professor of computer science at the Gdansk University, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science. Her research interests include internet technologies, database management, artificial intelligence and e - learning. She has widely published in the area of her scientific interest and is the author or co-author of several textbooks. The focus on her lecturing is on using internet technologies in order to build an interactive database for supporting global business.

 

 
 

Piotr Jedrzejowicz

 

Piotr Jedrzejowicz is a Professor of Information Systems in the Faculty of Business Administration, Gdynia Maritime University, Poland. He has obtained Ph.D and habilitation in operational research from the Gdansk University. His research interests include artificial intelligence, decision support systems and knowledge management tools. Prof. Jedrzejowicz has published several books and papers in international scientific journals and conference proceedings and has been leading several research projects in the field of computational intelligence, information systems, modelling and simulation. He is a member of several scientific and professional associations and an elected member of the Committee of Computer Science, Polish Academy of Science. From 1984 until 1989 he held a position of the Rector of the Gdynia Maritime University; since 2002 he is Dean of the Faculty of Business Administration.

 

 
 

Michiyo Nagayama

 

Michiyo Nagayama has a Master degree for Higher Education from Waseda University, Tokyo and is a Doctor degree candidate there. She teaches methods of cross cultural learning and has been working for 20 years for the Study Abroad Programme at Waseda University in Tokyo. She is mainly coordinating programmes for American students who study in Japan and for Japanese students who are studying abroad there.

 

 
 

Wolfgang Lukas

 

Dr. Wolfgang Lukas is Professor of Human Resources, Organisation, and Management at Hochschule Bremerhaven, University of Applied Sciences. Before, he was Professor for Management at Fachhochschule Ostfriesland. His practical experience of over ten years positions as General Manager of Hoechst Schering AgrEvo A/S, Copenhagen, Head of Human Resources Policies of Hoechst Schering AgrEvo GmbH and Internal Consultant in the Corporate Development department of Schering AG, Berlin.

 

 
 

Carlos Nunez

 

Carlos Nunez is a lecturer in Operations Management and Logistics at Utrecht Business School. He studied Architecture at Los Andes University in Bogota, Columbia, and holds Masters Degrees in Engineering, Information Technology and Urban Planning from Delft University of Technology. He is specialised in Operations Management and Tourism Planning with special focus on achieving "Sustainable Development" in tourism planning. Carlos started his own firm in Architecture and Urban Planning twenty years ago, and has worked in several countries. He has further specialised in Intercultural Management and gives intercultural management training at the Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam.

 

 
 

Raya Nunez

 

Raya Nunez Mahdi is a lecturer at Utrecht Business School and Rotterdam Business School. She is Indonesian and gained her first intercultural experiences in Thailand, China, Indonesia, and Russia. She has a Master Degree in Social Anthropology from the University of Amsterdam and studied, worked and lived in Germany, Columbia and the Netherlands. Now she lives and works in the Netherlands, where she develops training programmes for international managers at the Royal Tropical Institute in Amsterdam. Her specialisations are Organisational Behaviour and Intercultural Management; as well she is also a free-lance writer on intercultural education for Dutch publications. Raya has been a visiting lecturer in Intercultural Management in several Universities all over the world.

 

 
 

Manuel Perez Cota

 

Manuel Perez Cota is a Professor of information systems in the Department of Informatics of University of Vigo, Spain. He has studied Mechanical-Electric Engineering in the National University of Mexico and obtained his doctor of Industrial Engineering from the University of Santiago de Compostella. He is specialized in the fields of Advanced Computer Science and Software Engineering based on Human-Computer Interfaces. Prof. Perez Cota has published several papers for national and international prestige magazines, reported in different Congresses, worked on several research projects and is a member of diverse professional associations.

 

 
 

Svetlana Rodionova

 

Svetlana Rodionova is a Strategist at APG Investments, which manages the assets of one of the world largest pension funds. Strategic Asset Allocation unit at APG Investments is responsible for the medium to long term macroeconomic scenario construction, forecasts of expected returns on broad asset classes, construction of investment plans, participation in the investment policy formulation and thematic research. The latter includes a broad range of topics related to the impact of global trends and/or country factors on investments attractiveness and asset allocation.

 
 
 

Joseph Roevens

 

Joseph Roevens Ph.D researches and lectures about participative forms of management and Change. He’s a professor at NHTV Breda University in the Netherlands and a research associate of its Center for Cross-cultural Understanding, and Change. Dr. Roevens received his B.A. from Cornell University, advanced degrees from IEP, Ecole Centrale and HEC in Paris, and from the School of Advanced International Relations (SAIS) of Johns Hopkins University. In 2008 he obtained a Ph.D from Tilburg University. As a polyglot bridge builder Dr. Roevens combines the subjects of economics, government, diplomacy, psychology, organizational development and ecological philosophy. His expertise covers all areas of management and sustainable Change, with a focus on entrepreneurial participation, corporate democracy, open book management and Chaos theory. Henry Seifert

 

Henry Seifert is a Professor of Wind Energy Technology at the Hochschule Bremerhaven, University of Applied Sciences and head of the wind energy research centre fk-wind. Working as the head of the Department Wind Turbine Technology at the German Aerospace Research Establishment in Stuttgart following the position as the Vice Managing Director of the German Wind Energy Institute in Wilhelmshaven he has 25 years experience in wind turbine technology, research and further education. He is specialised in the fields of rotor blade material, structures and aerodynamics, mechanical load measurements, fatigue load monitoring and load assumptions, operation of wind turbines in cold climates and also in the field of quality management and standards and recommendations. Prof. Henry Seifert has published several papers in national and international scientific journals and conference proceedings and worked on several research projects. He participated in national and international standardisation committees in the field of wind turbine techniques.

Wouter Siddre

 

Dr. Siddré has large experience as a Professor of Macroeconomics at Erasmus University Rotterdam. During his career he took on several additional jobs such as Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Advisor of one of the members of the European Commission. During the last ten years he specialised on Eastern European economies and especially on the Russian economy. Actually he teaches frequently as a guest professor in the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.

 

 
 

Kazuho Yoshimoto

 

Kazuho Yoshimoto is a Professor in the Science and Engineering Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering at Waseda University, Tokyo. He has a Ph.D in Engineering, is specialised in facility planning and production control and has a broad international lecturing experience in the fields of production control and productivity improvement.
